How close industry collaboration is driving the rail industry forward

The Machines With Vision team were honoured to be recognised in the National Rail Awards 2023 in the ‘Safety Achievement of the Year’ category, alongside Network Rail, Porterbrook, DG8 and One Big Circle, on the Class 153 project for ‘Safer Switches and Crossings’.

As everyone who works within and alongside the rail industry knows, close collaboration is key and instrumental at helping start ups such as Machines With Vision and its technologies to make an impact, particularly given the scale and complexities of the sector.

The Class 153 project was a particular highlight for the team, and a fantastic opportunity to engage with some of the greatest minds in the industry today. The work the team undertakes is not just for the moment – it is for the future of the industry and the many people who work on and travel across the network, day-in-day-out.

You can also check out the Class 153 project in action at this year’s Rail Live, with a member of the Machines With Vision team, and find out more about how they work with the rail industry in Zone M on stand M246. See you there!
