Machines With Vision set to exhibit and present for the very first time at ‘The Rise of IoT and Big Data in Rail’ event

Machines With Vision are set to exhibit and present its industry changing innovations for the very first time at the world renowned ‘Rise of IoT and Big Data in Rail’ event, since securing its £2.6m investment earlier this year.

Machines With Vision work across the global rail industry providing a unique map of track features to unlock new geospatial mapping solutions, by using sensors installed on the underside of trains and cloud-based software to enable accurate prediction and monitoring of potential problems or faults. Their current clients include Deutsche Bahn and Network Rail.

Founded in 2016 by Anthony Ashbrook, Tim Lukins, Jan Wessnitzer and Matt Farrugia, the team take knowledge and expertise gleaned from their work within the robotics sector and apply their AI thinking to the rail industry to resolve complex, legacy challenges such as the industry’s lack of GPS coverage and predictive maintenance problems.

The event, set to take place in Cologne, Germany on Tuesday 17th May – Wednesday 18th May 2022, is a key date in the diary for technology leaders from across Europe to unite and display how game changing innovation and ideas can be applied to the rail sector; something Machines With Vision is proud to play a role in.

Anthony Ashbrook, Co-Founder and CEO, commented: “We are excited to head out to Cologne for the ‘Rise of IoT and Big Data in Rail’ event and share with the world the ideas and solutions that have been bubbling away within Machines With Vision since our inception in 2016.

“Becoming venture backed has enabled us to pursue significant growth opportunities across the global rail industry, to engage with key players from across the sector and highlight the leading role that innovation must play in the creation of a digital, greener network, in Europe and beyond.”

Machines With Vision can be found on stand 21 and Anthony’s presentation will take place in the Auditorium at 17:35 on day one of the event. If you would like to arrange a discussion with the team at the event, get in touch here.
